Bill,
I'm so impressed with what you are doing in Iraq, and a little scared for you, too. You seem to be in good hands though and I'm proud of you for going after something you've wanted to do! Although I admit, I still think of you as my crazy cousin Billy who got a "little" hyper after having one too many pieces of gum... :)
Just wanted to say hi!
Love,
Your cousin Kim

I think the "Scars" picture is quite striking. I can't imagine a major newspaper printing something like that with a caption accurately describing it as an al Qaeda attack.

This stuff is way better than newspaper stuff. The pics are really candid -- so is the material, from the author and its subject matter.

Bill,
I don't know if you can help, but I'm trying to find out how a friend of mine serving in 1/24 is doing.

We served together in 3rd MAW in the mid 80's, and yes, he's the oldest marine from Michigan in the regiment. That should be enough info without mentioning names.

I haven't heard from him since late August, have not seen or heard a thing about him, and can't seem to find anything about his status.

I understand that your plate is full, but if you can find out anything and pass it along, this old leatherneck would be very grateful.

Thanks for all you're doing over there, Bill...honest firsthand reporting from the area seems to be...problematic, at times.

Stay alert, check six, and don't forget to duck.

Thanks for the information. Lets the troops know we all want them to finish the job and come home safe.

Wow....this is soooo awesome! I just stumbled on to this site...and lo and behold, the first pic is of my son, PVT Ian Reeser.
Thank You!
