Daybreak in the City of Mosques
Posted by Bill
I just finished my first piece for the Examiner and will link it as soon as it's published. Also on deck is the promised post on my patrol with the Gators and more, much more.

If you get a chance (i.e., if you run into a local historian, perhaps this isn't a reasonable request), long-term historical/architectural would be awesome. For some reason your pic made me think of the Hagia Sophia. Posted by: Hubris at January 4, 2007 08:47 AM long-term historical/architectural context. My apologies. Posted by: Hubris at January 4, 2007 08:57 AM Bill: You asked why companies do not want unions to do work. Here is the main reason; Yes the wages increase from X amount of dollars to say $ 35.00 per hour for labor. =Which is OK if you can get that type of money for labor. Than the kicker is that you have to send the Unions approximately $ 15-20 per hour for each hour that person works. Thats the killer. It is exhtortion if you ask me. I'm in that situation right now. I'm non-union and don't want to become union. But the unions are placing pickets up where we buy our product and the companies won't sell us the product because the unions have their men running the machine which makes our product. WE HATE THE UNIONS. They hurt a lot of people. Go to" media and Press" and you'll find out how corrupt these lice buckets are.
