Heh.
Posted by Bill Drew Carey told a great joke on an HBO video diary of his (and other comedians') visit to Iraq to entertain the troops: "Yeah, my girlfriend's a Democrat (small crowd of troops boo). Well, she didn't actually come out and admit that she's a Democrat, but I can tell, because she just sits in the passenger's seat and bitches about my driving." In 1950 you would have been characterised as a traitor. You should be ashamed of yourself. Your children will be embarrased of you. Posted by: ron at June 7, 2006 12:32 PM Who's Bob? Posted by: Bill from INDC at June 7, 2006 02:54 PM That's your idea of humor? I'm disappointed. Posted by: Eileen at June 8, 2006 05:59 PM I'd be happy to explain the joke to you Eileen. Posted by: Robin Roberts at June 8, 2006 10:14 PM Did you like the rest of that movie? I've always been a bit of a Jeff Ross fan, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. But I really like behind-the-scenes stuff about comedians (Patton Oswalt's The Comedians of Comedy was excellent). I guess I like having jokes explained to me. Eileen - That's your idea of a rejoinder? I'm disappointed (mostly in myself, because this is the best I could come up with, too). Meh. Posted by: Matt Moore at June 9, 2006 10:25 AM |
