Star Wars TV Show is a Go
Posted by Dorkafork It'll be a year and a half before it comes out, though. Could be good: Firefly & Battlestar Galactica show it's possible to do excellent sci-fi on TV. Rick McCallum also produced the Young Indy series, which I heard was decent. It's always nice to see a lightsaber duel. And most importantly, Lucas does not appear to be involved in the creative process.* (Hopefully they'll use some of the writers from KOTOR.) On the other hand: The Star Wars series TV show track record leaves much to be desired. (This is still my favorite fan film, though the first half is skippable.) *UPDATE: I feel a disturbance in the Force. (Apparently, the 80s were a time of great desperation in the land of television.)
