Reminder: Stand By Denmark

Posted by Dorkafork

If you're in the Washington, DC area:

Please be outside the Embassy of Denmark, 3200 Whitehaven Street (off Massachusetts Avenue) between noon and 1 p.m. this Friday, Feb. 24. Quietness and calm are the necessities, plus cheerful conversation. Danish flags are good, or posters reading "Stand By Denmark" and any variation on this theme (such as "Buy Carlsberg/ Havarti/ Lego")

Related: Buy Danish. Or Danish music.

Oh, stop it

I sincerely wish you the best with the protests. The hypocrisy of people living in the free world decrying a lack of restraint on freedoms we all enjoy. If they don't wish to be free, let them go elsewhere. I for one am willing to fight for my freedom, not in Iraq but here.

Don't tell ME I can't do something. And, by the way, I'm not Christian either. I'm not even a secular humanist. I'm secular... period. I don't have to follow your rules.

It's like saying that my religion proscribes the wearing of orange shirts, so you can't wear orange shirts either. F that.
