Foreign Real Estate Bargains

I wonder what a nice home in the German Alps would run ... I can understand it if they're finding severely under-valued property due to short-term market quirks, but I still wouldn't be terribly interested. If it were me I'd be too tied up buying American and especially Indian property. Granted these folks are likely a hell of a lot smarter than me, but rushing in to buy German makes no sense to me unless you're one of the first movers.
