A Little Help Please
Posted by Bill I've noticed a bit of traffic coming from a link to INDC that's featured somewhere on this blog, which appears to be written in Chinese. Now, while I can't be certain of this - as I don't read a lick of Chinese and don't actually know what the guy is linking to - I get the feeling that the author is flaming me, what with all those menacingly gooney squiggles and lines. And I'm very, very angry about it. Furious, in fact. Livid. So if any of you read Chinese and would be willing to translate a bilingual flamewar, so that I might teach this ChiCom bastiche WHAT'S WHAT and drop a few rhetorical nukes across the Yalu River, please let me know. Thank you. UPDATE: ARGGHHH! YOUR WORMY ALPHABET MAKES MY BRAIN SWIM! Then, as he rides over you and grinds you in his treads, the world will write poetry in your honor and commemorate the day you died for your beliefs -- at least until the next football season begins, or the two hour "Will & Grace" series finale gets the folks buzzing about the watercooler. Let's not be culturally insensitive. Posted by: Drew at February 18, 2006 03:55 PM Culturally Insensitive? Where's my Beef & Broccoli? Posted by: Xoxotl at February 18, 2006 04:42 PM The Altavista Babel Fish translator contains a traditional Chinese character to English engine, which Google doesn't. Using that, the translation is more complete, but is still quite nonsensical. It's hard to translate Chinese to English word for word. Google's translator is only for the simplified characters used on the mainland, in the People's Republic. China Times is published on Taiwan. Posted by: Jim C. at February 18, 2006 08:02 PM It has something to do with Bill's comments in Tom Friedman's book, "The World Is Flat". The rest of it is Greek to me. Posted by: Mullah Richard at February 18, 2006 09:18 PM So, is this a good thing, or a bad thing? [Inquiring minds, etc.] Posted by: Clioman at February 18, 2006 11:46 PM Neither really, I think, just posted as a silly thing. Posted by: TallDave at February 20, 2006 02:47 AM I just want to know how much sodium Bill is shipping and to whom. This may be bigger than his Niger "yellowcake" connection. Posted by: Lew Clark at February 20, 2006 07:08 AM Perhaps its sodium chloride? That would make Bill guilty of international as-salt. --|PW|-- Posted by: pennywit at February 21, 2006 07:10 PM http://www.la-ringtones.com/mp3/ ringtones site free. ringtones site, Free nokia ringtones here, Download ringtones FREE. from website .
