Posted by Bill Continuing my companion series for those with challenged reading comprehension, I offer the following summary version of the above post, "But ... Isn't Turkey an Islamic Nation?" I call it, "Turkey GOOD, Syria BAD:" Ahem. Syrians threaten cartoonists, burn things: BAD. Turks protest cartoons peacefully: GOOD. 90% of Syria Islamic (16.6 million Syrians). 99.8% of Turkey Islamic (69.6 million Turks). But Turks don't burn and threaten, GOOD. Islam probably not make all BAD. Islam can co-exist with largely secular, westernized moderation: GOOD. The End. Part One in the series can be found here.
