K-Fed UNLEASHED

Can you feel it? The PopoZao?!

Ok, ok - as bad as Mr. Britney Spears' musical debut may sound, it's really not any worse than the standard-issue simplistic, repetitive hip hop beats and hooks that dominate the kids' Ipods these days. If Ludacris released the same damn song, it'd be a hit. And come to think of it, it's really no worse than his wife's music, either.*

Nevertheless, watching the world's most successful gigolo boast and head bob like a gooney peacock is pretty damn funny.

* I lay odds that Ghost of a Flea will actually like it. Did I mention that he's Canadian?

It's like watching a trainwreck.

Hey, it's a culture of lowered expectations. Does this mean I had a shot with Britney?

He might be Canadian, but he lives in California... Hmm, that "no passport, no entrance back" policy of Canadian immigration seems to be working. 1 point for us for getting rid of him. - 1 point for America because you let him in.

No, no, Ghost of a Flea, above, is a blogger from Canada. A blogger from Canada with occasionally terrible taste in music and celebrities.

Wait a minute here... I'll give you the fact that we export some pretty bad talent down south, but their all from Toronto. Alberta takes no responsibility for it. Besides, we try to make up for it with guys like Mike Myers, Steve Martin, John Candy...etc.

Play nice, or we won't take Shania Twain off your hands when her looks go.

You guys created "Britney", so don't blame us for that one.

Oh wait, we allowed "Celine" loose... ok, we're even on that one.

(Thats our secret plan to take over America, one bad singer at a time. Today LA, tomorrow NY. We don't want to break America to quickly though, so we send the odd comedian down to help fight the forces of Evil... aka Anne Coulter)

JoeCalgary is leaving out a couple details here. Shania Twain is from Timmins, Ontario and Mike Meyers is from Toronto. k.d. lang, by contrast, is from Alberta so props to the West for that.

As for me, I have a UK passport so am only semi-to blame for any head flapping people you may have to put up with south of the border.

I have a UK passport

WTF is that supposed to mean? You're a wannabe half a limey?

Posted by: Bill from INDC at January 26, 2006 04:50 PM

Actually, it means I'm English.

Posted by: Ghost of a flea [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 26, 2006 06:27 PM

But you were born ... ... I'm so confused.
