What Do You Want?
Posted by Bill I know what you want. You want links. I get that. But when I was a boy, I wanted lots of things, not the least of which was to grow up to be either an astronaut or a professional figure skater, dueling aspirations that, come puberty, sparked a series of incredibly messy dreams about a naked Katarina Witt doing slow triple salchows on the moon. And I firmly believe that the following mornings of confused panic and gummy tween shame are responsible for my currently humbler, flickering flourescent-lit designs on middle management. My point? You can't always get what you want. And if you have a teenage son, it's probably not a terrible idea to take a coat or two of Thompson's Water Seal to his bedsheets. Posted by: Val Prieto at January 20, 2006 08:47 AM And all this time we'd thought you'd finally snapped after being rejected for the Olympic ribbon twirling team for the 10th time in a row. Posted by: phin at January 20, 2006 08:55 AM Hey, could you check on Ghost of a Flea? His site seems to be down. As long as you're not giving us links and all. Posted by: JohnAnnArbor at January 20, 2006 09:03 AM I have never been so concerned for you as I am now. Posted by: Gordon at January 20, 2006 09:06 AM Or you could do like that Zach kid's parents from American Idol last night, and teach him to dress, talk and act like a woman. Man, that shit was disturbing. Posted by: TallDave at January 20, 2006 09:15 AM Oh, never mind. It's back working now. Posted by: JohnAnnArbor at January 20, 2006 09:16 AM How did that Witt dream work out, in light of your bedwetting habit? Posted by: BummerDietz at January 20, 2006 12:07 PM Um, Bummer, bewetting isn't exactly what's being discussed. Posted by: Slartibartfast at January 20, 2006 04:42 PM Glad to know I wasn't the only one with that particular obsession. But I had already expended most of my lustful ice-dancer fantasies on Dorothy Hamill, Supreme Almighty Goddess of Grace and Beauty. I had SUCH a crush on her when I was 14...I think I still do. Have you seen her lately? She's about 48 now but she looks fantastic. Alas, I'm already spoken for. Posted by: Sloan at January 20, 2006 06:21 PM Icky post. Ugh. Posted by: Jal at January 21, 2006 05:30 PM thank you very much for your help. You guys 70727 rock, thanks again. Posted by: Tuki Medaber at October 4, 2006 12:28 AM |
