Posted by Bill * A surprisingly good remake of a fantastic song. Posted by: Sharp as a Marble at November 16, 2005 03:06 PM I am too fucking old. I was thinking Patsy Cline, and was horrified. Posted by: B Moe at November 16, 2005 07:15 PM LOL Posted by: Bill from INDC at November 16, 2005 07:30 PM Good, but I still can't forgive her for that nude video. I had nightmares for weeks. Posted by: TallDave at November 16, 2005 08:12 PM I'm not very old, B Moe, and I thought Cline, too. Hmm, sounds kinds Natalie Merchant. Despite that, it's ok. Posted by: Matt Moore at November 16, 2005 10:13 PM Yeah, I can see the Natalie Merchant thing--although, for me, that's not a bad thing at all. This is pretty good. A little surprising since I really never liked Morrisette. For what it's worth, I was wondering if it was Patsy Cline, too. Posted by: zombyboy at November 17, 2005 12:20 AM Me too, until I looked below the fold. BTW, she ain't good lookin' enough for either of 'em. Posted by: mcg at November 17, 2005 02:00 AM I like Alanis Morristte, Cheryl Crow, Barenaked Ladies, Goo Goo Dolls, Sarah McLachlan and a lot of the bands from the 90's. Also, I like alot of the 80's stuff too. I hate the new stuff though. It's all either rap or some other variety of repetitive brain-rot muck. It sucks, just like reality TV. There is no originality or creativity anymore. Everything in the last 5 or so years has become so jaded and meaningless. The 90's were a much better time to be alive! I sure hope it gets better than this. Half way through, I think it's safe to say that the 2000's are about as forgettable as they come. Posted by: John at November 17, 2005 08:34 AM Wow, nostalgic much? Zombyboy - Sometimes I don't understand how we're friends. Natalie Merchant?! Posted by: Matt Moore at November 17, 2005 08:50 AM OOh, with a twist at the end. Yeah, I had Patsy Cline confusion too; was surprised you'd be into that. I was kind scared when A. went all buzzsaw on Goldstein. Posted by: SarahW at November 17, 2005 10:04 AM Who's A? Posted by: Matt Moore at November 17, 2005 11:35 AM One or more of the following: 1. Aquaman Posted by: SarahW at November 17, 2005 12:22 PM Jeff vs Aquaman? Now that's a fight I'd pay to see. Posted by: Matt Moore at November 17, 2005 04:06 PM Um, Posted by: SarahW at November 19, 2005 02:16 PM Matt, Natalie Merchant has that little, cute hippie chick thing going on. I'm a sucker for that. Posted by: zombyboy at November 21, 2005 01:12 PM She's smoking hot...I really can't comprehend some peoples taste. Thanks for the link...it's getting tougher and tougher to find good tunes. It's a pity that the latest Depeche Mode album had just one :( Posted by: Blacknimbus at November 21, 2005 01:28 PM Man, gotta download that into my MP3 player.
