Posted by: Diana at October 22, 2005 11:59 AM Un-frigging-believable! This guy could probably make a mouth-harp sound good. Posted by: Johnd01 at October 22, 2005 01:02 PM Wow. I can't believe how good that guy is. While you're there be sure to check out Selections from Caprice No.24 and Toastmaker's Revenge on the Sunday Morning CD and When You're Down on the Crosscurrent CD. They're classical ukelele, speed metal ukelele, and blues ukelele. Just freaking incredible. Posted by: SeanH at October 22, 2005 03:35 PM It's a particularly beautiful song to begin with, but his interpretation makes me consider that it may be even more beautiful on an instrument that's as delicate as a ukelele. Which is kind of impressive. Posted by: Bill from INDC at October 22, 2005 04:21 PM Really refreshing. Too bad we'll never hear it on the airwaves. :( Posted by: crash at October 23, 2005 12:00 PM You can get it without the ads at http://www.ukuleledisco.com/jake, which is the site for the public-access show he recorded it for. Posted by: wheels at October 24, 2005 03:34 PM Un. Freaking. Believable. One of the most moving musical renditions I've ever heard. Of anything. Thanks, Bill.
