Friday Musical Break

From who else, but ... the Flea!

Highly recommended contemporary selection that rocks, especially at the 2:40 - 3:40 bit highlighted in those catchy Apple commercials.

I must now recruit a Groove Armada so that I might invade the Boogielands and capture the Bump and Grind.

Rally to me, Centaurians of Rhythm!

What? Why are you looking at me like that?

Posted by: TC@LeatherPenguin at August 12, 2005 12:50 AM

Well, um, okay.
I'll join the Armada if you'll reinstate my commission as QuarterMaster of Funk....
but I'm bringing the Sex-O-Lettes with me.

Since Marcell beat me to the Quartermaster position, can I be Lord High Chancellor of Shake-Your-Booty?

Done and done.

Well, all right! Starchild, Citizens of the Universe, Recording Angels. We will return to claim the Pyramids. Partying on the Mothership. I am the Mothership Connection. Get down in 3-D.

Centaurians?

By M.C. Hammer, you shall be avenged!

Posted by: Paul Zrimsek at August 13, 2005 11:07 AM

That would have been even funnier as "By MC's Hammer, you shall be avenged!"

Dunno why, but it would. Still funny, though.

Like, the fish-looking people from the Marvel comics, or the Galactic Federation Members? Or do you just have a lot of followers with four legs--in the spirit of Lao Tzu who observed, roughly, "If my spirit were a horse and my buttocks turned into wheels, then I would get down and ride."

Yeah, it's a slow Sunday. So sue me.

Posted by: Beck at August 14, 2005 07:44 AM

Yeah, that occurred to me right after I posted it. Ain't that always the way?

Posted by: Paul Zrimsek at August 14, 2005 12:00 PM

How many times have I watched this video now? I've lost count.

As the youngsters say: "It just rawks, dude."

Posted by: Sloan at August 17, 2005 08:45 PM

I just bought the album. I absolutely love it.
