Random IM Conversation with Goldstein, Ten

INDCBill: man
INDCBill: Hannity is such an ass
proteinwisdom: It's the eyebrows.
INDCBill: and the preening nonsense
proteinwisdom: Yeah, that too.
INDCBill: I'd even go so far as to say
INDCBill: that I'd rather have lunch with Colmes, if forced to choose
INDCBill: that's right
INDCBill: I'd prefer to spend an hour listening to DNC talking points while uncomfortably avoiding that reptilian gaze
INDCBill: than put up with Hannity's company
proteinwisdom: And Colmes would give you his pickle and fries, too.
proteinwisdom: Or at the very least, you could beat him up and take them from him.

Instead of doing radio, you guys should just do some sort of public IM / running TV commentary.

Hell of a lot less time-consuming than radio, that's for sure.

Plus, you can take your time, without dead air time... forming your jokes carefully, so as to find the proper wording for them.

And because they're on a computer, the maid won't come in and crumple up your jokes and throw them away before you've finished.

Most of these jokes (though tweaked) come relatively real time, though writing is much more precise, sure. The key with radio is getting comfortable on the air, as if you're just sitting around bs'ing, as well as rehearsal in the case of bits. Alas, one of the reasons we quit the show was because it was too much effort. (well, mostly in my case)
