I've heard of this kind of stove accident in the third world before. Apparently, it's distressingly common, because they use these really cheap stoves with kerosene or gasoline.

Engineering challege: come up with an easy-to-make, easy-to-use, hard-to-screw-up safe stove that runs on liquid fuel. That would do more to help the third world than any three UN organizations you might name.

ALL LIES! What the story DOESNT TELL YOU is that the KOMMANDANT-IN-CHIEF and the HITLER-SIMIAN KARL ROVE PERSONALLY inflicted those burns on that girl so that a CIA SURGEON COULD HEAL HER, and then portray AMERIKKKANS IN A FALSELY POSITIVE LIGHT!
