More on the obesity/sedentary lifestyle cancer influence:

Being physically active boosts the odds that breast cancer patients will survive the disease, according to the first study to produce evidence that exercise improves the prospects of beating any malignancy.

The findings add strong new support to the growing body of evidence that healthy lifestyle factors such as eating well and exercising regularly provide significant health benefits, possibly even offering protection against cancer recurrences about on par with radiation and chemotherapy.

I'd disagree; most people are not aware that cancer risk factors increase with either inactivity or obesity. Many folks think heart disease, but not cancer.
