Posted by: gail Some here may think you're kidding around about the sqirrels, but I know how dangerous those DC squirrels are. DC squirrels are large, fat, and aggressive. I've had them come at me in gangs, demanding tribute in order to pass. Once while on the Mall, a squirrel snuck up behind me, climbed my leg, and picked a half-eaten pack of peanut butter crackers from my jacket pocket before running off with his ill-gotten gains.
