Exposure to (Potentially) Uncomfortable Truths About Your Host, Part Four
Posted by Bill Honestly? Keeping it real? I think that more five-year olds should be handcuffed. A lot more. Close to all of them, really. Loud, squirrely little bastards. Sticky fingers.

That little kid was probably screaming bloody murder--distracting the driver and endangering the other kids. He probably smelled too. Posted by: JFOFlyer I just wanted to say that I love your posts about 5-year-olds. I have a 5-year-old boy, and although I love him dearly, I can't wait for Kindergarten to start so that I can get a couple of hours each day that don't include incessant prattle about Star Wars, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Thomas the Tank Engine, Dash from The Incredibles, dinosaurs, Hot Wheels, "science experiments", and whatever else wanders randomly through the mind of a five-year-old boy. I find your posts about 5-year-olds very cathartic. Posted by: Wacky Hermit Well, I'll try to do more of them then. Have you tried handcuffing the little scamp? Posted by: Bill from INDC Here Bill, I know you'll like this: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=1507&e=2&u=/afp/20050508/hl_afp/healthbritaincancer I keep a botle of Glenlivet around, but it's pretty much just for guests. Maybe I'll have to rethink that. Posted by: TallDave No, I haven't handcuffed him, although I did duct-tape his wrist and ankle to his sister's wrist and ankle once when they were fighting. I made them stay that way for half an hour to make them try to get along. I'll leave the handcuffing to his school teachers. ;) Oh, and not all five-year-olds have sticky fingers. Some are so obsessed with germs that they carry bottles of hand sanitizer in their pockets... Posted by: Wacky Hermit |
