Why Oliver Wasn't On the Show

Posted by Bill

Willis gave us an initial contact number a couple of days ago, but then changed the number via another e-mail to me two hours prior to the show. Since he didn't copy Jeff on the message and I was away from keyboard until the very start of the show, we missed the change in contact information. There was no chickening out and we'll be happy to have him on another time.

You're not fooling anyone, Bill. You just "happened" to not have Oliver's number... Yeah, right!

To everyone else - I can vouch for both Bill A. and Oliver W. in that I could hear the producer try to call Oliver and get an answering machine, so the story makes sense to me.

I like the "stuck at the buffet" excuse better.

BTW-loved the intro.

Feh. Two hours before you're scheduled to be on a radio show, and you're forced away from the phone you're supposed be using? What what the emergency, Two-fer Day at the DC Denny's, and O-Dub found a coupon book?
