Apologies
Posted by Bill ... for the light/slow posting. It's just that ... I know, I know. I know. Yes. I know. Yes. Yes. Yes. Uh huh. Yes. I know; you're right. Totally. Mmmm Hmmmm. I know. I tell you what - how about tonight we have your mother take the kids ... and you and I will take a drive on up to the Inn at Little Washington and ... But - Look, I said I was freakin' sorry. What do you want from me, my immortal soul?! Oh Jesus, this again. That was eight months ago and I was drunk! You'd be drinking too if you weren't so used to the pitch of your mother's caterwauling. Oh yeah? Well maybe, just maybe, if your relatives weren't so damn easy none of it would have even happened! Did you ever consider that? Look, honey, I didn't ... Honey ... honey! Damn. Posted by Bill at February 25, 2005 08:35 AM | TrackBack (0) CommentsGet away for the weekend and take the kids with you. There are lots of nice places with supervised fun activities for kids which leaves plenty of time for your own fun activities. Enjoy. Posted by: erp Well, it was sort of a metaphor ... Posted by: Bill from INDC yeah, a metaphor. a metaphor for forgetting my birthday. again. bastard. ; ) Posted by: tee bee Metaphor? What you need to do is treat your blog like the bitch she is!! Posted by: Dr. Rusty Shackleford Uh, that was terribly misogynistic. And the metaphor was directed towards my readers, which include you. Posted by: Bill from INDC In that case Bill I want a nice meal and flowers. On second thought, skip the flowers and meal, just send me John Wayne dvds. Posted by: rbj A meal at THE Inn makes up for a host of sins. Do not be intimidated by Gerhardt. For dessert get the cheese plate, and for the lady, Death by Chocolate. I've eaten in some spectacular places, but the Inn is probably my favorite. Although, to pay for it you might have to sell your immortal soul, 'specially if you stay overnight. The rooms look supremely upscale whorehouse, but they are comfy. My take, stay in a hotel in town, have dinner and come back for breakfast or brunch. The food is phenomenal, the service is distilled perfection and the dining room makes one feel, well...kingly/queenly. Please don't "overdress", in attitude or sartorial splendor. The Inn looks pretentious, but it isn't. Truly, if you take someone there, they will forgive your transgressions and love you for the rest of both of your lives. That's pretty good for a restaraunt. All my luck to you....Pinky Posted by: pinky The preamble of the Constitution tasks the government to provide domestic tranquility. If you're not getting it, you're being oppressed by the man.
