A Glimpse Into Oliver Willis's Future
Posted by Bill
FOREWARD (I'm STILL keeping this at the top, people. COME ON!): Brit Hume is the anchor of Fox News Channel's prime time news report, Special Report with Brit Hume, and he makes things up. On February 3rd (UPDATE: 2005) Hume intentionally manipulated the words of the 32nd president, Mr. Franklin Delano Roosevelt (UPDATE: The GREAT), to make it appear as if FDR supported privatization of social security. This is a brazenly false falsehood. (UPDATE: That's A LIE, people. Don't you IDIOTS get it? JESUS. A LIE.). President Roosevelt's grandson, the saintly James Roosevelt Jr., (UPDATE: Rest his soul) describes Hume's journalistic malfeasance as an "an outrageous distortion" (UPDATE: Again, this was back in 2005). We agree. To intentionally twist the words of the father of social security in order to support a political plan to destroy it is DISGUSTING (UPDATE: Added all caps. UPDATE AGAIN: And italics.). Hume has offered NO apology nor explanation for his intentional deception. For this fraudulent act, Hume should resign. (UPDATE: For the love of Christ already, please?!) Day 1,742 Well, Hume still refuses to resign for distorting the AMERICAN TRUTH. Which is STILL under SIEGE. No food, water or medicine can get through to the AMERICAN TRUTH, as it is surrounded by the Right Wing Repug shills of FOX News. In fact, the AMERICAN TRUTH has been reduced to eating rats and weeds growing from the cracked pavement within its walls; forced to survive by drinking its own urine. But we will NOT give up. We will PREVAIL. We will FIGHT our way through to the AMERICAN TRUTH, and when we have broken the SIEGE and WON the day, we will plant the vanquished Hume's head on a pike so that ALL may see. The TRUTH. Of AMERICA. PS - That lying Nazi bastard Giuliani (worst President ever) sent me a form letter today, outlining my "option" to put a portion of my Social Security taxes (up to $4,000 annually) into their privatized pyramid scheme. This is an option? An option to bankrupt America and steal from the disadvantaged, maybe. Though Choice "C," the indexed Fortune 100 Bond and Equity Hybrid Fund, looks kind of appealing. Damn lying idiotic Rethuglican bastards. Idiots. These citizens (still) agree that Hume must resign: Atrios Take the poll for TRUTH! Also, context. Posted by Bill at February 17, 2005 09:21 PM | TrackBack (11) CommentsI'm laughing right now..(UPDATE: really really hard.) Posted by: HansBricks This was hilarious Bill. Posted by: Roberts A hunger strike might be more effective. That's what a REAL activist would do. Either that or be a splodeydope. Come on, take one for the team, Willis! The revolution takes more than just hiding all of the Ann Coulter books in the humor section at Barnes and Noble. Tearing off the bar codes on National Review isn't enough either. Brand Democrat demands sacrifice. Did John Kerry start a petition advocating the shipment of arms to the Khmer Rouge? No, he went and did it himself. Did Dan Rather start a petition calling for the removal of the President? No, he went out and forged himself some documents. Real Democrats ACT! Why on Earth would Brit Hume care about some silly petition signed by people who do not watch his show. He doesn't care what Juan Williams thinks, and Juan is on Brit's show. How could Brit turn a blind eye to a young lad wasting away and streaming live audio of his growling stomach? The public outcry would be huge. Did we not learn anything from that episode of "The Twilight Zone" with Dennis Hopper? The Party needs a martyr. To paraphrase the Nausicaan in "Tapestry" that stabbed Picard through the heart, "Coward. Like all Democrats. You talk and you talk... but you have no guramba." Seriously, wtf??? The Grapevine segment is basically uncredited tidbits from the blogs. If the left wants Brit's scalp, they'd probably have more traction claiming that he was stealing material from bloggers. Are these guys serious? I thought they were supposed to be "reality based." Brand Democrat: We're Hungry! Posted by: r-dubya Cracked up and died laughing. I have the flu too. Maybe a little photo of an FDR doll held at gunpoint by the ferocious minions of Faux News? Posted by: MaxedOutMama One day Bill from INDC purports to have the 'flu.' I can't say. Haven't seen any doctor's note. Then Oliver Willis goes Howard Dean, and Bill arises from his sick better to slay the mighty Willis. Sounds just like what the doctor would have ordered. Remind me to send Willis a thank you note. David Posted by: David My duty is to a higher calling than my health; I am a servant of the people. Posted by: Bill from INDC Thank you Bill... I would never know OW is doing this unless you told me :-| PLEASE when he drops the Brit Hume Watch I hope you guys are all over him... Posted by: Apex The uberleft just continues to become a hopeless parody of themselves. They're also very good at shooting themselves in the foot. And just look at the expression on Hume's face on their precious little banner. Ought to put a little cartoon thought balloon on it that says, "Oh, please. Is that all you have, you impotent little wankers? I'm going back to work now." Posted by: Mark You forgot to mention that Brit is a racist. Posted by: kbiel Absolutely classic!! Posted by: Dr. Rusty Shackleford Oh bravo Bill. The banner in particular is priceless. Day 1,742? That's all the way into the next administration, isn't it? As I said over at Goldstein's place (and thanks for saying you liked the comment!), Oliver has now transcended the very concept mockery. Our limited petty-bourgeois notions of rationality no longer restrain him with their weighty chains of responsibility: he has become a tubby Nietzschean Superman, and we would do well to mark his progress with appreciation. Posted by: Jeff B. You have just encapsulated the awe and wonder that I have been hertofor unable to express in words. Posted by: Bill from INDC stop feeding trolls. Posted by: Captain Mainline stop feeding trolls. Stop inhibiting my/our fun. You are free to read another blog. Posted by: Bill from INDC You have just encapsulated the awe and wonder that I have been heretofore unable to express in words. Consider it a flu-inspired flight of inspiration (yeah, it's laid me low too...seems be knocking all of us in the DC area down). Actually, I think I have the same instinctive understanding of Willis as you do of, say, moonbat protesters. It's not something I worked at. I just realized one day that these perceptive powers were given to me by God, and with great power comes great responsibility: by golly I must put this gift to good use, else the true nature of Oliver might be unrecognized in his time. All hail the tubby Nietzschean Superman. Posted by: Jeff B. Your wrong about me giving up. So I think you need to un-cross my name. |
