*** Apparently, donated toys for Iraqi children reap security benefits.

*** Looks like Google is sticking up for Eason Jordan.

*** OTB rounds-up the mildly surprising Iraqi election results.

*** Kate makes the relevant point about the new chair of the DNC.

*** And Vodkapundit finds a glimpse of the sentiments that guide the Columbia Journalism Review's analysis of blogging. Presumably, this arrogance is what motivated their embarrassing January piece about Rathergate.

I have a thought regarding Dean: I remember reading about Alexander Hamilton suggesting the idea of a "president-for-life" to make Madison's plan for a president (which was enacted) more palatable to the Founding Fathers. Perhaps Dean's selection is a further set up for the "new and improved moderate" Hillary run in 2008. Or am I giving the Democrats too much credit? I guess I'm still under the impression that Clintonian democrats are still in control of the party.

Blackfive's post really touched me. I donated some money for toys back during Chief Wiggle's first big push. The idea that there is a connection between me and that incident, however tenuous, is inspiring.
