Personally, I Like "Whole Foods/Fresh Fields" Grocery Stores

But Jeff at Beautiful Atrocities doesn't share my appreciation of evening primrose or borage oil. Or soda made from Amazonian tree bark, toothpaste contrived of mint leaves and wasp's nest daubing and "free-range, died of natural causes and signed a release" chicken breasts. Shrug.

Well, given how he ends his post, it's possible that out in CA Fresh Fields has a more, umm, downmarket clientelle. The DC area Whole Foods are mostly magnets for late-model Volvos rather than beat up original Beetles.

If you consider getting run over by a delivery truck a natural cause, there are plenty of free-range possums in Central Illinois that you don't have to go to the natural food store for.

Were they fuel efficient electric hybrid delivery trucks?

I *love* "Whole Foods/Fresh Fields"!

No, I don't shop there daily, or even weekly, but I can only get certain things there--like my special beauty secret (Calendula Gel, but I won't tell you how I use it--hehehe) and dried fruit and "Corn Kernels, salted." ;^)

Fraid not, out here everything runs on ethanol.

Gail: "Fraid not, out here everything runs on ethanol."

Even the possums?

They have the best-tasting food. But spending $50+ per shopping bag hurts.

I wish I were rich ... I would shop nowhere else.
