Geeky SciFi Ruminations/EuroTrashy Pop

Posted by Bill

*** Andy's got some of the former.

#1 - I didn't really watch it.

#2 - Those numbers can't possibly be true, can they? Can they?

#3 - In your face, Roberto!

*** Friday calls for some sketchy Euro Pop at Flea's place. I suspect that the guys in that video are UN relief workers bound for Tsunami-ravaged Asia.

Ma-ia-hii
Ma-ia-huu
Ma-ia-hoo
Ma-ia-haha

But the next stop - "Ibi-tha!"

UPDATE: Speaking of geekiness ...

I'll miss Enterprise, Capt. Archer acted more human than either Picard or Janeway. And no Klingons doing Tai Chi.

Still, Babylon 5 is my all time bestest one.

Enterprise was deffinitely better than Voyager. But that is a bit like offering up "you smell better than the dead hobo we found in the shipping container last summer"
But it's not as good as the new BSG is shapping up to be. Or Babylon 5. Or Firefly (can't wait until the fall for Serenity). Or Futurama. But it was better than Space: $19.99
As for the damned Linden trees... that firkin video infected my mind a couple of weeks ago, and I still find myself singing it and making that goofy face in the shower or worse, in the gym.
I must find that person and do to him what Jordan did to Austin. But I will be justified...

Offering up the hobo thing as a compliment, that is.

i'll miss enterprise. but i understand why it is being canceled. they could have done such a huge amount more with it. it just never feels like it has really gotten going.

kind of like episodes 1 and 2. they're just filling in the blanks.

bsg rocks. i have all of it in my tivo and have friends over to catch up. the effects are good and the stories are well done so far. yeah, i'm in love with grace park. so are around a million other men.
