Dirty Harry issues Michael Moore a warning:

'Dirty Harry' star Clint Eastwood told an awards ceremony in New York that he would "kill" 'Fahrenheit 9/11' filmmaker Michael Moore if he ever showed up at his front door with a camera, according to a report on Ananova.com.

With Moore sitting in the audience, the Eastwood said, "Michael Moore and I actually have a lot in common - we both appreciate living in a country where there's free expression.

"But, Michael, if you ever show up at my front door with a camera — I'll kill you. I mean it."

I'd probably just kick him in the bobules, but to each their own, I guess. Moore took it in stride:

A report in the New York Daily News, said Moore, who received a special "Freedom of Expression" award for his anti-Bush documentary, appeared to laugh off Eastwood's comments.

Realistically, he probably gets that all the time.

Don't know what I'd do if I saw him in public. Probably ignore him and encourage others to ignore him, too.

BTW, I'm amused that your first post keeps showing up as the "Next" post.

What does that mean?

As one of Jeff's commenters said, "how are we going to get Moore to knock on Eastwood's door with a camera?"

I wonder...how long before he starts a 'documentary' on bloggers...hmmm?

Bill, since the beginning of January, occasionally on your newest thread I'll see your Testing, Testing, Testing thread shown as the next thread on the top of the page (instead of just not being there at all). Could just be an issue with the RSS feed I get at work? Don't know. Not currently happening at home (where the RSS isn't working for me).

I had some fun with this report on Clint Eastwood trying to put the fear of God into Flint, Michigan's answer to Joseph Goebbels. I added an audio clip to the post on my Blog. How else do I have a chance in hell with competing with the likes of you! Seriously, you're on my blogroll and I enjoy your observations.

Myabe I'm just way too cynical, but these calls for his resignation from MSM journalists is just a smoke screen insofar as they cannot take advantage of the short attention span of most people on the bias issue and thus will not be able to continue the MSM "business as usual" bias as long as Rather remains as a lightning rod.

Not to mention that every day that Heyward and Rather stay on, the more irreparable damage the MSM suffers.

Pssst, Hey Michael Moore, Clint Eastwood's got a couple of those Hardee's monster burgers at his house just for you.

I doubt you could find MM's bobules what with all that excess flesh on him.

And I see the Michael is once again being oppressed for speaking his mind, what with yet another award.
