Willis!
Posted by Bill I gave up on bothering to lampoon or fisk Oliver Willis's jabberings a long time ago. After awhile, you realize it's analagous to criticizing a Special Olympian because he can't run very fast. Or particularly straight. Or formulate complex political analysis beyond the most rudimentary partisan stereotypes. And then you just feel kind of bad. Posted by Bill at January 12, 2005 06:02 PM | TrackBack (7) CommentsSure is rich, somebody sucking from the Soros teat tossing around accusations of "shilling". Posted by: Robert Crawford But on the plus side he does objectify women with skin pics on his blog... Because nothing says "Wonkette/journalist" like boobie pics. Posted by: DANEgerus No point in fisking the likes of Willis. By all means, let this boob don his lampshade and play the fool in the biggest forum he can find. Posted by: betalune Bill, it just seems a little unfair to compare slamming Willis to making fun of a Special Olympian. I mean Willis's foolish comments are all pre-mediated drivel, voluntarily spewed out at the world. He has the capacity, but not the will, to not be a butthead. A Special Olympian can be empathized with and even admired for their spirit to perform under circumstance they cannot change. A toilet-licking little weasel like Willis will never attract empathy, only disgust, as he leaves a trail of foulness across the blogdom. Posted by: dougrc He has the capacity, but not the will, to not be a butthead. I'm not so sure about that. And I personally thought that my comparison was an unfair slight on the mental capacity of Special Olympians. Posted by: Bill from INDC |
