Oh Yes, That's the Stuff

Hitchens scores an eminently sensible goal, via TacJammer:

Hitchens: Michael Moore openly says that he regards the murderers and torturers and beheaders in Iraq as the moral equivalent of America's founding fathers. Vester: Which a number of people in this room take a dim view of.

Hitchens: I should hope.

Vester: Why do you in particular... I mean, you're tough on Michael Moore in your book. Why?

Hitchens: Well, because he's a scumbag.

Cool beans! :-)

I like Linda Vester and her show, she doesn't pretend to understand or respect *crazy* people.

Hitchens was being polite. Scumbag in re Moore is high praise.

If it hadn't been for my DVR, I'd have missed it almost entirely, due to sudden onset of cola-spewage.

I should have also noted that the studio audience applauded wildly.

Well, Hitchens is a scumbag. And his agreeing with me occasionally, doesn't change that fact. Hitchens is the "shock jock" of liberal commentators. His only saving grace is that he enjoys shocking his own people from time to time. But hey, if it takes one to know one, then Hitchens is qualified to judge Michael Moore. (Wasn't the cleaned up Moore a chuckle?)
