Happy Turkey Day

An ungrateful convict took a swipe at the President's stomach while being pardoned in 2001. This year however, Bush kept a good grip on the bird's neck:

I'm surprised President bush would pose with Senator Kerry so soon after the election.

Wow, Bush changed ties at the same event. Wonder what it means.....

Are we sure that's a real turkey he's holding this time?

Barnyard Animals for Truth

Where's Goldstein when you need him?

I approve of your captions, though. Heh.
Happy Thanksgiving!

LOL!

Interestingly, both those pictures remind me of Johnny Carson (and GW has the same bemused look on his face when dealing with animals... where is Joan Emery?)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Darleen nailed it. Carson! I couldn't remember what that look W. gave the bird reminded me of.

W to bird: "Two words, turkey: Gib. Lets."

They'll have the turkey's picture on sorryeverybody.com, 'I didn't get eaten but he's still a war criminal'.

Being relatively new to the right wing blogosphere, I can't help but notice some of the conventions that appear on numerous blogs and in the comment threads. I have some questions. So I'll just post them here.

Where does the term "fisking" come from?

What is the origin of the term "moonbat"?

Why do so many people indicate amusement with the expression "heh"?

Why do so many people indicate mock malice with the expression "BWAAAHAHAHAHA"?

What happened to Allah?

Just curious.

MichaelM, I can't answer all your questions, but the meaning of some blogging terms can be found in the Samizdata Glossary.
