A Manhattan Art Critic's Post
Posted by Bill The Fall of Protein Wisdom Jeff Goldstein has become a pretender, a scornful dadaist, a false idol worshipped by a cadre of sycophantic poseurs that elevate chaffy to an altar of Godhood. My tears fill chamber pots for what was and what never was ... but could have been. He laughs and spits on you all with his "dog whistle post." And you lap up the discharge like fawning curs desperate for sustenance. Damn you, Goldstein. Damn you. May you be damned like you have so casually damned us. You beautiful bastardly genius. That's how I feel when I read Goldstein. He makes it look so easy. Posted by: DWC He mocks you. Posted by: Bill from INDC He has become the John Cage of the blogosphere. Posted by: WoodysWoundup Jeff's always funny, even when I don't get it, which sometimes happens. Posted by: Doug F MMMM Goldstein's chaffy dish is my favorite. HOT! SPICY! Posted by: SarahW Why do you think I'm shamelessly copying him? I'm even pretending to be Jewish now Posted by: jeff If less is more, was was Dog Whistle "The Most"? I think so. Posted by: leelu Doug F. I find myself laughing, once I realize I didn't 'get it.' Posted by: kdoh_2000 I love his Martha Stewart prison diaries. I was standing in the checkout line at the grocery store tonight and couldn't find a decent Holiday magazine to browse thru. Said to my husband " I'm so depressed this year, I think that it's because Martha's in prison. I mean, really, we are so lucky. We have everything else. Our health, another Four Years. Sigh........everything except Martha. Posted by: dianapqrst [Dieter] Jeff Goldstein, your presence intimidates me to the point of humiliation. Would you care to strike me? [/Dieter] Posted by: Sloan LOL! Posted by: Bill from INDC I have shot my monkey, Klaus, into space, because art is dead. |
