"a reprieve from the agenda of paganism" (UPDATED)

Posted by Bill

This is pretty interesting:

Don't equivocate. Put your agenda on the front burner and let it boil. You owe the liberals nothing. They despise you because they despise your Christ. Honor the Lord, and He will honor you.

They're coming for you blue blue-staters! Gather your guns* and prepare to defend your families from the looming existential threat from religious zealots!**

* Oh wait, you don't have any guns. Damn.

** Domestic religious zealots. The foreign religious zealots make simply fabulous couscous! And the keffiyah? So "sheik."

UPDATE: Uh, guys? I was just kidding ...

Today Best of the Web linked to a discussion thread on Bill Maher's site where Democrats debate the ethical question: Is it proper to shoot Republicans?

Ace has more:

This is how violence starts. Most people are not quite so crazy as to do such a thing without provocation. But you add lots of encouragement from their political buddies, the chance to become a "star" among those you seek respect from, and now you're cooking a political-hit stew.

OOooo... A twofer! MSM has dug up a few comments AND they can flog Bob Jones University, too! Wow... I'm sure BJU has some late-night classes in how to strap on C4 and go forth and blow up the pagans at Disneyland ...

::::YAWN::::

Let me know when the MSM gets this aggitated about the "assassinate Bush" and "Kill Republicans" screeds everywhere from DU to dKos to the Guardian to Bill Maher's site.

It's kind of fun to watch now that the election's over. When the MSM started suddenly uncritically quoting Pat Robertson's crazy claim about Bush supposedly guaranteeing no casualties in Iraq it was even kind of amusing.

No guns? They could maybe use one of those pink cardboard street protest tanks to defend themselves.

Really, nobody outside his school cares what Bob Jones thinks, he's just an isolated crank. But a convenient one for the Left.

I live about 5 miles away from Bob Jones (closer than Jeff Q.). Crank hit the nail on the head; Bob Jones doesn't hold any sway even here in Greenville, let alone South Carolina and the entire U.S.

My former next door neighbor was the pastor of the Baptist church closest to Bob Jones U. and even he ignored Bob Jones (although his wife told me she was required to wear a dress to a small barbeque at Jone's house; no pants allowed!)
