My Apologies for Light Posting

... but I have nothing to add; I'm a taciturn spectator at this point.

I'm actively monitoring the following blogs:

Ace

Captain's Quarters

The Corner

Instapundit

Kerry Spot

Llamas

Outside the Beltway

UPDATE: My gut tells me that my home state of Florida goes to Bush, by the way.

And so much for Rock the Vote's draft scare tactics.

UPDATE: More calming ferrets:

Ah yes ... that's the stuff.

UPDATE: Random observation - Michael Barone is one Hell of a straight shooter.

UPDATE: FOX: Kerry Campaign officials getting "concerned."

It sounds like Puffy's gonna have a lot of caps to pop...

We need more ferret pics.

Current breakdown [sic] for D.C.:

Bush: 9%
Kerry: 90%

Condolences, Bill ...

My wife looked at your ferret pics and decided we MUST have a ferret. She was negative as late as yesterday.

So thanks, I guess. Kind of wierd that my favorite political site would influence my pet decisions......

And I am sorry to say, it looks like my state of PA will be going to Kerry. I don't think it will matter in the big picture, but I am disappointed none the less.

Ferret, on the beach, with bongoes.

Mmmm. Yeah. It's all good, baby.

I've been updating awptimus.com all night. Nothing other than reporting totals.

Very confident of a Bush win at this point.

Posted by: awptimus at November 2, 2004 11:14 PM

Waxing a bit philosophical now, but this thought just occurred to me: I can say with a 90% level of confidence, that whether or not I choose to adopt a ferret as a pet will have a greater influence on the next 4 years of my life than whether Bush or Kerry becomes president.

Call me an optimist, but I think that says a lot for our country.

Beyond 4 years, the picture gets fuzzier, though.

that whether or not I choose to adopt a ferret as a pet will have a greater influence on the next 4 years of my life than whether Bush or Kerry becomes president.

Yeah, well that's because the Iranian nuke goes off in my back yard ... have fun with your ferrets.

Posted by: Bill from INDC at November 2, 2004 11:30 PM

Iran is not going to be able to get a nuke delivered here in the next 4 years. No way, no how. They might get one to Israel or Europe (assuming Kerry helps them along the way).

North Korea might be able to lob one on to CA, WA, or OR, but that won’t affect me much (or my ferrets-to-be).

Kerry is not going to win though...

I'm rather disappointed that my (current) home state of Pennsylvania has continued to fall to the evil lure of the Blue Side. Of course, it has to do with the damn big cities (Philly and Pittsburgh, to be sure)

I mean, it's a given that Uncle Ed (Rendell) has made sure that the poor dead Democrats weren't having their votes disenfranchised in Philadelphia. But this is just asinine.

I reiterate all of my prior predictions from yesterday.

It aint over, but it's getting closer....

I agree with Bill ... Kerry might be a major factor in OBL, Iran, North Korea and all the rest of the world's bad- guys getting the edge. They just need to get out of our radar screen for a few years- because, you know, here in Detroit, it's all about "MANUFACTURING jobs" ... @@.

Posted by: Carin at November 3, 2004 12:21 AM

The developments so far remind me of a tennis match where neither side can break the other one's server. They just keep trading games and returning to deuce.

Posted by: Kent at November 3, 2004 12:22 AM

Of course I meant serve, not server...although some servers might be at risk of breaking tonight.

Posted by: Kent at November 3, 2004 12:24 AM

I particularly like this ferret picture, for some strange reason.

Posted by: dorkafork at November 3, 2004 12:30 AM

Yeah barrone's been great and those ferrets rule.

Posted by: ctob at November 3, 2004 02:00 AM

Perhaps, it's just me, but I'd prefer ferrets over bunnies anyday.

Yeehaw! I do ferret blogging every Sunday.
