My New Sponsor Rocks

Posted by Bill

Literally.

As an old Iron Maiden aficianado, "Spitfire" is my favorite song.

UPDATE: Cool metal instrumental of "Message in a Bottle" as well.

Wow. Spam comments. Huh.

Bill, awesome sponsor. :) I'm an old Maiden fan myself, recently put 'Aces High' back on the playlist, so 'Spitfire' is a welcome addition.

Bill, you?! A fellow Maiden fan?! Fantastic! I had no idea. Personal favorites include "The Trooper," "Die With Your Boots On," "Aces High" and "Two Minutes to Midnight." One thing I've always loved about those guys is that they're literate, or at least do a passable job of pretending to be.

I dig "Spitfire," but now your sponsor needs a vocalist with bellows for lungs, like Bruce Dickinson.

Rhyme Of The Ancient Mariner

C'mon, they did a great cheesy tune about 'Dune' - how could I not love 'em?

Wow. Now I have yet another reason (there have been many) to respect you & your blog- you have good choice in music. I'm an unreformed metalhead from way back, though I've hung up my mc jacket for more respectable duds and kept the hair short.
I still think it's cool that a lot of Maiden's songs are mini history lessons.
