Why I Watch 'Scarborough Country'

Because in addition to presenting a fair range of opinion and treating his guests with laid-back respect, Scarborough does things like this:

The host of "After Hours" announced that there were two post-debate polls of reaction to the vice-presidential debate, one from ABC and another from CBS.

CBS had done a poll of "uncommitted" voters which seemed to conflict with the general consensus of who won the debate (see below).

Scarborough announced that he had the poll, "But since it's from CBS, we're not going to bother you with the results."

As he said this he wrinkled up a paper and threw it on the floor.

Sweet.

Scarborough rules. Much better than Hardball. Calls people on BS, is pretty honest, and isn't an a-hole.

Yes throw away opinions that differ from your own. Onward towards the truth we march hand in... ok we just march, single file people, single file.

That's just the point, Ben... An opinion POLL is not supposed to be an opinion, but is actually the results of a hypothesis test. It's supposed to be a scientific experiment.

That's the problem with many on the left mixing facts with opinions, calling differences in interpretations as lies and "truth" is malleable.

I like Scarborough, but I agree with Bill. Every time I see little Ronnie's smug mug I contemplate the costs of a new television because I am instinctively urged to kick his face.

Ben, it is not a case of throwing away an opinion that is different, but rather disregarding a source that has been proven to be biased.

I can't watch Joe S. for too long.

As others have said, Reagan, the Ballarina Boy gets in the way.

Keep seeing tutu's and getting Nausiated.

Hannity is still pretty good, but even BOR is getting a little old.

I love Joe, too bad he's married.....

and I can't believe I missed that magic moment because that was exactly what I was thinking when I read about the CBS Poll, it's good for the garbage only....
maybe he'll replay it tonight? darn we should have inundated him with emails asking for a replay......

I don't think Ron is a regular, he just pops up for election thingeys but even he had to concede Cheney the crocidile showed the "stature differential" at the VP debates......
