Sorry Folks

Posted by Bill

Despite my recent legal research, I missed this:

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has launched a criminal investigation into forged military records allegedly obtained from President Bush's National Guard file that were aired by CBS News three weeks ago, referring a congressional request for the probe to the investigative division of the Texas Rangers.

Supoena power, here we come.

(Thanks to Pete Wright)

UPDATE: Look for the obligatory New York Times hit piece that highlights George Bush's nefarious former financial ties to the "Texas Rangers."

- Two things I want for "Christmas in Cambodia" this year. Any kind of litigation that forces court "discovery" of the source of the RatherFaked memo's and gets the weasles biting and rolling over on each other directly back to the DNC's doorstep (preferably before Nov. 2nd.)

- and B). Kerry finally forced to release those 31 pages and produce his discharge papers - Form 180 followed by public view of his form DD-214...I'm convinced he got a "general" discharge that Clinton secretly upgraded to an "honorable" just before he left office....

And there was much rejoicing.

Now, let's all pray for an indictment before Nov. 2nd.

FINALLY! I knew no DA was going to take it, because they don't have the resources. It was the AG or no one.

bummerdietz at Scylla & Charybidis has posted a template letter to the Rangers, pointing out to them that CBS has committed forgery, not just Burkett.

The attorney general can't investigate it. He has handed it off to the Texas Rangers. See

Does this mean Chuck Norris (www.usanetwork.com/series/walker/)
will be chasing Dan Rather?

Or is Nolan Ryan
(www.thebaseballpage.com/past/pp/ryannolan/) just going to throw fastballs at him?

Too much fun either way.

Mr. Kerry says conservatives do not have any humor. Bring. It. On.
