You can laugh now, but Joe Trippi totally outed all of you on Hardball on Friday:

It's funny when you actually think of what the "message" was: that the documents were forged. Somehow both Matthews both missed that the Democratic "message" was that the documents were authentic, and that they attempted to get it out through CBS.

Me thinks they are circling the wagons but it will be a massacre. From their own, not from anybody else.Donner Party comes to mind. We were just the snow.

Liberals never lay the blame where it should lie: in the case of Rathergate, with CBS and the forger of those docs.

But that's OK...as long as they keep denying reality, they will never fix what is wrong with themselves, and so will just condemn themselves to keep making the same mistakes and keep losing.

If Karl Rove is behind the new rumblings from Mt St Helens, then could we get him to do all of us in Washington State a favor? Can he move it to underneath the state capital in Olympia and wait until Sen Patty "bin" Murray is visiting before pushing the button?

He'd do something clear and unambiguous, in typical conservative code. Something nasty like "Social security needs reform" or "Free market health care is cheaper". Both clearly insinuations that you're going to need help after Rove's bully boyz mobilize a huge conspiracy to dethrone you.

Hey, it was a long-term project! First we had to conceptualize a new medium. Then we had to invent, design, and implement the internet. The we had to come up with the idea of the web, and implement that. And finally we got around to actually creating weblogs.

Maybe. But until you can prove 100% that this document is a forgery, we will continue to assume that, based upon the preponderance of the evident, Karl Rove did indeed write this.

Even if it IS proved as forgeries, that doesn't mean anything. The meaning of the memo is still true. Fake, but accurate.
