INDC Correction

Posted by Bill

Aka "You never know who's reading:"

Bill,

Enjoyed the poll, but a couple of notes:

(1) I haven't been a sub for Rush for years -- with the exception of a two-day stint last year, during his rehab. I host my own syndicated radio talk show these days on the Fox News Radio Network.

(2) As for the "partisan" label: It might be worth reviewing my work on Fox News Sunday. The biggest complainers were conservatives, who said I was too nice to liberals.

(3) I demand a recount on the finals. I'm a Hume guy.

(4) Most importantly, however, you spelled my name right. That trumps all other considerations.

Love the site.

Best,

Tony Snow

I'm glad that Mr. Snow is apparently a good sport. That being said, I'm crossing my fingers that Jeff Greenfield and Charles Osgood don't read INDC ...

Tony was screwed by Murdoch right after he pinned Jay Rockefeller to the wall. Dan Rather is given a lifetime job of distorting the news after he (with a little help from the rest of the liberal media) brings down a president while Tony has an abrupt departure to follow his long-time dream of having a talk radio show.

Does anyone know where Tony's alleged talk radio show is carried and what time it's on. Note he doesn't mention it in his post.

Say what you will about the left, they stick by their people no matter how guilty or stupid they are. Conservatives might take note.

I was hoping Bush would name him press secretary.

You're off your rocker. Visit the link to his radio show and click on "station finder."

And take a few deep breaths before you comment.

Bill, I was just happy you kind of went back to your Moonbatologist type roll. It's hard being goofy by myself!

Tony Snow is a fine gentleman, and an astute political observer. His personal comments at the end of Fox News Sunday were often little gems of social/political reflection. I, for one, miss his contributions at Fox News, and I look forward to the day he will resume more substantial duties on Cable or Network News. His radio show is not carried here in Columbus, OH. I wish that it was.

I love Tony Snow. If I leave love letters and other stalkerish odes to him in your comments, maybe he'll see them.

Don't call the police. Yet.

I feel so unimportant suddenly...

Jeff was on IMUS this morning. He as quoting Instpundit so he must read the Blogs. Imus, in his never ending quest to be crictal of just about everyone, called the Bloggers a bunch of "Idiots"

I first came across Tony way back when he did sub for Rush quite a bit and became an instant fan. In fact I liked him better than Rush then and still do. He alway took the time with callers to explain things. Chris Wallace for Tony Snow on Fox News Sunday was the dumbest move Fox has made in the last 5 years. I can't get Tony's new show on radio and, since the last time I check, none of the stations he was on offered streamimg. (I'm so remote in rural SE Georgia that the only way I can get Rush is internet streaming.

Posted by: Jim Z at September 27, 2004 11:57 AM

Jim Z, that's pretty darn remote.

I like Snow and I'm glad he has a sense of humor about the "partisan" thing. I haven't seen him on FNSunday but I do remember him subbing for Rush and (if memory serves) O'Reilly.

Only the very best can restrain themselves from being a partisan pundit to do a straight "news" show, so maybe TS is patting himself on the back for his Fox News Sunday work? Hmmm. (haha)

Tony's radio show is definitely streamed online - that's how I get it in the SF bay area. It's from a station in the Dallas - unfortunately i don't have the link right now. I use ReplayRadio (www.replay-radio.com)to record it off the internet when I'm at work, so I can listen to it when I get home. Works great!

The Snow Man reads INDC? What better compliment is there? I understand some Indian tribes would judge their greatness on how mighty their enemies were. Based on the likes of ERP above I'm feeling pretty small right now.

Posted by: Gary at September 27, 2004 02:09 PM

Gary, What are you talking about. I'm not an enemy of Tony Snow and he did get screwed. I often take a deep breath, but unfortunately while I'm doing deep breathing, more and more idiots are born.

Ha.

Tony? Did you get the flowers? The package? Why haven't you written back to me?

Tony??

Very cool Bill. You've got some readers in high places.

I've always been a fan of Tony Snow, whenever I've seen or heard him he has been a good commentator.

My mother calls Tony Snow her "boyfriend" as in, "I can't talk to you now, my boyfriend is on" and also refers to herself as a "snowflake." God, if Tony read my site and sent me an e-mail she'd pee herself.

His show is on in Chicago only on weekend replay, which is a shame. He isn't as overtly passionate as some hosts, and is just to damn reasonable and nice to his callers. You can tell that he loves his job, but you can also tell that he is a 100% Republican, which is why Bill was right to cull him from the list.

I look forward to seeing him in Chicago at a big talk-radio WLS thing on Saturday. (My mother is contemplating wearing snowflakes around her head.)

I should mention that I do not live with my parents.

ERP-

Wow, I just came off my drug induced paranoia. My appologies for totally getting your message wrong and responding the way I did. Now, where DID I leave that brain of mine...

Posted by: Gary at September 28, 2004 06:01 PM

Tony Snow just rocks.

He is clearly about 20 IQ points a head of most on your list, yet he takes time to explain things to his listeners. Being a hypernews geek I usually sit patiently while he does it but when I does find me ignorant, I'm glad for the catch-up.

That is an invaluable skill that few in the news biz have.
