Site Stat Update
Posted by Bill This whole Rathergate deal has helped INDC top the half-million mark in site visits. We're at 550,591. I suppose that the top sites do that in a slow week, but it sure feels like a lot of "F5" to me. INDC also entertained well over 100,000 unique visitors in the month of September. Thank you for your support. UPDATE: I'd also like to thank my top 15 traffic donors, in terms of frequency and/or number of visits: Allah Fine blogs, all. Yes, yes, of course I'm kidding about Sullivan; substitute Powerline, Rathergate, the Kerry Spot and the Corner. Also, thanks to the too-numerous-to-individually-name smaller blogs that link me with frequency, and a special shout out to Dean and the Commissar for getting me started and providing early encouragement. Posted by Bill at September 24, 2004 12:11 PM | TrackBack (3) CommentsBill - I think we're the ones who should be thanking you. JMHO. Posted by: IdFaciam at September 24, 2004 12:14 PM PayPal button's on the right. :-) Seriously though, thanks for reading my site. Posted by: Bill from INDC Journal at September 24, 2004 12:15 PM Congratulations. Unfortunately, my true form of thanks has to wait until payday on the 1st. Posted by: Brett at September 24, 2004 12:16 PM No problem, man. Reading the site is enough. Posted by: Bill from INDC Journal at September 24, 2004 12:20 PM Congrats Bill! Rathergate turned me on to your blog, your intelligent commentary will keep me coming back. Oh, and I already hit the PayPal button. :) Posted by: Farrah at September 24, 2004 12:30 PM Congrats, Bill. You deserve every hit (on your site, on the paypal, whatever...)! Posted by: willow at September 24, 2004 12:38 PM Congrats Bill. Want more traffic? Do more porn...and stock quotes. Porn-quotes. Posted by: RS at September 24, 2004 12:46 PM - Whats up with this ... Burketts lawyer on FOX saying he's no longer representing him due to health reasons and FOX reporting the latest Burkette interview article was retracted....no details? Posted by: Hunter at September 24, 2004 01:45 PM Well, Allah just exceeded its bandwidth limit so don't count on any more hits from that source for a while. Posted by: The Raving Atheist at September 24, 2004 02:26 PM Geez, even interviews with Burkett turn out to be hoaxes. Maybe a Burkett imposter gave CBS the forgeries. Posted by: The Raving Atheist at September 24, 2004 02:27 PM Rathergate turned me into a regular reader, too. Thanks for your hard work on that, and a generally outstanding blog. Your analysis is what MSM should aspire to. Posted by: Retread at September 24, 2004 03:29 PM I, too, "stumbled" upon this blog at the beginning of Rathergate. Seems that this site has some of the more rational people and of course one of the best "go-getters" running the joint. I think we think alike, Bill, so I plan on making this a regular hang-out (especially while work is slow!) Excellent work during this story and I hold you in high regard for your interview on Thursday night/Friday morning (9th-10th) of Phil B. Posted by: Scoob at September 24, 2004 04:17 PM Thanks for the kind mentions, here and in the TB post. Busier than Bill Burkett at the Xerox machine these days at work. Posted by: The Commissar at September 24, 2004 04:25 PM I knew Bill when he used to link-whore for food. (j/k) Posted by: Farmer Joe at September 24, 2004 05:31 PM Wait, where is Mort Kondracke? Who are you? What kind of crap-ass site is this, anyway? Posted by: Bill Burkett at September 24, 2004 08:11 PM |
