As the 1 millionth person to use the word "racist" in a ridiculously overwrought and inaccurate manner, you have successfully rendered this word utterly and completely meaningless! We here at Mirriam-Webster will now be forced to divorce the word from its original meaning as you have so diluted it that it has lost any censorious or accusatory power. Sure, there are a lot of us in the office who thought Jesse Jackson was going to hit the million mark first, and, yeah, I was kind of leaning toward Mfume, but damn if your chubby, half-witted, little ass didn't do it first! Well, congratulations, my hydrocephalic friend!, 'racist' will now act as a word that the truly oppressed probably could have used, but instead you chose to cheapen it to such a degree that it has now, officially, become devalued, devoid of power and useless as a means of shaming true bigots instead of guys who favor smaller government and personal responsibility. I, too, was disappointed in the reactions of the 'sphere, seeing (as I did) the Acceptance Speech as SOTU quality, hitting all the spots that (continue to) itch.

I was re-won-over by that speech, as much as I was forced to ulululululululu with elation at Miller's, think calmly and rationally with Cheney's, laugh with our Governator on his, and smirk irrepressibly in a chimplike manner with Giuliani's.

Haven't seen/ couldn't have expected a better round of declarations.

Bill, I was really looking forward to your perspective at the convention, but I assume something much more important came up. Just want you to know, though I'm like way inept at picture-taking, you have inspired me to dip my little toe into blogosphere.
