Well, I walked by, and several cops and an ambulance were there, and they had the little greenspace roped off with the yellow tape.

And there was what looked to be a dead person laying in the roped off area, so ...

Oh, I'm sorry. I have a friend who lived in Pacoima, and they once found a body in the dumpster outside their apartment building. Awful, especially for teenagers.

And my mother has a rental house in Mar Vista (a middle-class [maybe working-class] area of West Los Angeles with tiny houses). She had a tenant in the process of moving in who found a dead body in the alley outside. He almost changed his mind about moving in, but the cops assured him that it was uncommon in that neighborhood.

I found a live body while on my lunchtime walk in Crystal City. At least, he opened his eyes when I walked past.
