Remix: John Edwards Hummel Plate
Posted by Bill
Remix via the incredible photoshop talents of Bluemerle. Below the fold is a close-up of the colorized hummel figurine ...
Remarkable work. Posted by Bill at August 2, 2004 09:38 PM | TrackBack (6) CommentsAl'Quaida Litigation Haiku We will destroy you. Posted by: Patrick Henry at August 2, 2004 10:03 PM Plates. No there's an idea. Posted by: Jeff G at August 2, 2004 10:17 PM Or rather, "Plates. Now there's an idea." Posted by: Jeff G at August 2, 2004 10:18 PM You, you, you. It's all about you. Posted by: Bill from INDC at August 2, 2004 11:00 PM I love the subtle facial coloring which suggests Edwards is in fact a shemale. Posted by: Beck at August 3, 2004 03:49 AM That "coloring" was present in the black-and-white version, in the form of darkened, glossy lips and cheeks with a touch of shine on the apple. Sarah interpreted it perfectly in color. Notice how she also added shiny spots that texturize the umbrella and hands like ceramic. The red cheeks and lips are more indicative of cutie-patootie hummelization than transexuality, though ... Posted by: Bill from INDC at August 3, 2004 06:46 AM Also Pilates is an idea. Hummels aren't very bendy, though. Posted by: SarahW at August 3, 2004 09:56 AM What's a hummel, anyway? I'm not really up on my kitsch (to my everlasting shame). Posted by: Jeff G at August 3, 2004 12:08 PM Google it. Hummel is someone's name, (I believe), but it basically describes a bunch of expensive figurines and plates of cootie-patootie children that middle-aged and older women collect in order to fill the yawning chasm in their lives. Oh, and also because they're super darling and adorable. Posted by: Bill from INDC Journal at August 3, 2004 12:25 PM What's "google"? Posted by: Jeff G at August 3, 2004 05:07 PM I keep coming back here to goggle in amazement at how brilliant this is. Posted by: David Gillies at August 3, 2004 07:08 PM |
