But Have They Learned Anything?
Posted by Bill "I am thinking about the news media and how we failed to thoroughly cover and communicate the very essence of Ronald Reagan." Judy "Defeat in Iraq" Woodruff: "I do think there's new information coming out now about Ronald Reagan," said Woodruff, adding, "With the distance of years, we have the ability to talk to people, to read, to get information that we missed in the hurly-burly." The retired Shaw's admission was classy; Woodruff's bandwagon-hopping platitudes are scandalous, given the fact that she is committing the exact same slanted, superficial analysis to this day, every single day. I guess she's just caught in the hurly-burly. Posted by Bill at June 18, 2004 10:55 AM | TrackBack (0) CommentsWorse is Lou Dobbs, the smirking, self-rightous, conceited, Krugman of prime time. I thought "Exporting America" was going to be a week long series and here we are six months later and Dobbs drones on daily about the eeeevil Bush adminstration stealwing high paying tech sector jobs to make us work at WcDonalds. The man nearly chokes evertime he has to report economic growth. Posted by: Jane at June 18, 2004 11:05 AM I know, that's why I included him at the end of the previous post. I love his guests - he argues with world-class economist after world-class economist, all telling him "Hey Lou, shaddup, it's not so bad." What an ass. Posted by: Jane at June 18, 2004 11:29 AM During the Reagan coverage they had a report of Judy Woodruff from back in the 80's reporting on the White House lawn. She was yappin' about budget cuts and the POOR. Her reporting style had a very familiar tone... one of impending doom. Posted by: Iraqi Intelligence at June 18, 2004 12:00 PM |
